Some of our basketball club competed at East Norfolk Sixth Form College. 3 teams entered, who all competed well and were positive ambassadors for the school. One of our teams (Wolves) ended up taking 3rd place overall which was fantastic. Well done to all that took part.

23rd February 2023

Well done to all our runners for trying their absolute best in the cross-country event at Bure Park! Everyone did the school proud and we had several runners finish in the top 10 of their races. Nell and Zoe even managed to win their races – well done girls!

10th February 2023

Congratulations to our brilliant American Football teams, who competed in the first ever Norfolk competition. Our Bengals team won 2 and lost 2, our Jets team won all 4 games. We will now go to a regional finals in Peterborough in May to continue to test ourselves! They have picked up the sport very quickly and can even run plays by themselves when needed.

8th February 2023

They have done it again! The U11 Girls Football team followed up their 7 a side County victory by winning the Norwich City Schools Cup this week. This is the 3rd consecutive year Woodlands have lifted the trophy with 3 different groups of girls – a remarkable achievement for the school! The girls were once again imperious, not conceding a goal all day, topping their group and winning the Final 2-0 against Queens Hill Primary School. Another road trip awaits – the girls will travel to Luton at the end of February to represent Norwich City FC. Well done all!

2nd February 2023

Enormous congratulations to our U11 Girls on their incredible 5-1 County Final win. The girls scored at the start and the end of the first half to take a 2-0 lead into half time. Firside reduced the deficit just after the break, but Woodlands went on to score 3 more and take our place in the South East of England finals in March. What a wonderful achievement from all involved.

20th January 2023

An enormous well done to our U11 CSF Team who finished 6th in a very tightly contested Champions Day. They beat both the eventual finalists but couldn’t quite make the semi-final.
